Your Job Is To Keep 'Em Shooting! is a 1942 World War II U.S.A propaganda poster by Herbert Morton Stoops. The artwork was commissioned by the United States Army Ordnance Division. The image demonstrates a United States artillery force confident in battle because of the production workforce at home. H.M Stoops began his career as a staff artist for the San Francisco Chronicle and San Francisco Examiner before attending the Chicago Art Institute. He worked for Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, as well as The American Legion Magazine, which featured his painted covers. Stoops served in the First World War as a First Lieutenant in France. In 1940, Stoops received the Isidor Medal from the National Academy for his wartime artwork. This is an Original Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction. The framed poster is approx 36" x 1" x 47 3/4" and it weighs 18.50lbs. The poster is approx 28" x 39 1/2". The framed poster is in a good, vintage condition with some creases on the poster as it was originally folded up when mailed. The poster was professionally framed with museum glass.
