Two self-portrait prints, drypoint by William Strang, and lithograph by August Mosca, details include: William Strang (Scottish, 1859-1921), “Self-Portrait with Fez, No 18”, 1910 (reworked 1919), drypoint, depicts artist in hat and with paintbrush in hand turned to face viewer, ed: unknown, uncommon, this impression one of two proofs of the second state, signed with pencil lower right, inscribed with pencil, “2nd state, 2 proofs” lower left, printed by the artist with black ink on light cream laid paper with complete margins, unframed, hinged to mat under clear cover, wear consistent with age including toning and slight waving of paper, paper size: 11 1/2" h. x 8 1/2" w.; and August Mosca (Italy/American, 1907-2003), “Self-Portrait”, 1977, lithograph, depicts the artist facing viewer while seated at desk drawing, ed: 50, signed and dated with pencil lower right, titled with pencil lower center, inscribed with pencil “46/50” lower left, printed by the artist in black ink on white wove paper with complete margins unframed, hinged to mat under clear cover, very light wear consistent with age, paper size: 13 3/4" h. x 12" w.
