Relatif aux depenses de l’enlevement des signes de Royauté dans les Eglises et autres Monumens publics. 2°. Buono stato di conservazione. Rara placchetta rivoluzionaria. Importante documento sulla nascita della Repubblica anche sul piano della rappresentazione simbolica. Già nella prima seduta della Convention nationale, il 21 septembre 1792, i deputati avevano proclamato l’abolizione della monarchia in Francia. Con questi due decreti si procede ad eliminare completamente tutti i segni e simboli che sono collegati all’Ancien Regime, nelle chiese, nei monumenti, nei pesi e nelle misure. I due decreti sono rispettivamente del 28 ottobre e del 6 novembre 1793. La nota manoscritta in calce indica la data del ricevimento negli archivi del documento “5 pluviose” (25 gennaio 1794).

Rare revolutionary booklet. Important document on the birth of the Republic also in terms of symbolic representation. Already in the first session of the National Convention, on 21 September 1792, the deputies had proclaimed the abolition of the monarchy in France. With these two decrees we proceed to completely eliminate all the signs and symbols that are connected to the Ancien Regime, in churches, monuments, weights and measures. The two decrees are respectively dated 28 October and 6 November 1793. The handwritten note at the bottom indicates the date of receipt in the archives of the document "5 pluviose" (25 January 1794).
