An allegory of Industry & Agriculture, the female subject in profile wearing a laurel wreath and presenting a sprig in her left hand, her shoulders draped in red fabric embroidered with roosters. She stands before an open landscape with a man driving oxen, a farmhouse, and smokestacks on the horizon. Matted, a lower cutout showing the "La Republique" stamp; behind glass, gilt frame with label to verso for Spencer Weisz Gallery, West Palm Beach, FL.
