An outstanding set of 10 dessert plates and 2 porcelain tazzas circa 1850 by Edouard Honore, Paris. Each plate is hand-painted with flowers in the center with shaped borders, gilt and green. A similar set was produced for President James K. Polk (1845-1849). Each one is signed at the base Ed. Honore Bould Poisonnerie #4 A. Paris Manufacture a Champroux, Allier. The plate measures 9 inches in diameter, and the two tazzas measure 4 3/4 inches tall x 9 3/8 inches in diameter.
