Description
FREDERICK FRIESEKE (American 1874-1939) A PAINTING, "Self Portrait," CIRCA 1901, watercolor on paper; 10" x 7 1/4", framed 15 1/4" x 12". Provenance: Hollis Taggert Galleries, New York. Estate of Donald James Douglass, San Antonio, Texas. Proceeds to benefit the Douglass Foundation. Exhibited: The North Carolina Museum of Art, Raleigh, February 5 - March 5, 1975.
Condition
There is some fading in the sheet and the colors and the sheet has old crease lines where it was folded. Archivally framed and mounted. In carved American frame circa 1910 (frame from Eli Wilner).
