. A nice pair of large Chinese porcelain vases, embellished with elaborate garden scenes with beauties and caligraphy inscription to the rear. Pair of decorative handles to the neck. The origin of these vases dates back to the Qing Dynasty, when Chinese artisans began to create these pieces for ceremonial purposes. During the early Republic of China, these pieces were seen as status symbols and were frequently used as gifts or decorations.
