DESCRIPTION: "Raising Of Lazarus". (Rembrandt Van Rijn 1606-1669). Etching on Arches laid paper. Signed in the plate. The tenth state (Bjorkland and Nowell-Eusticke). From Millennium limited edition. In gilt frame. Previous auction and inspection sticker to back of frame. Rembrandt Van Rijn, more commonly know as Rembrandt, was a painter, printmaker, and draughtsman. Born in Leiden in 1606, Rembrandt attended the Leiden Latin School. He briefly attended the University of Leiden but left to study art under some of the best artists of his time. Known for his historic portraits, Rembrandt is considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art. MEASUREMENTS: 15-5/8" high x 11-1/8" wide; mat and frame 6" wide. CONDITION: Slight undulation to visible sides of paper. 2-1/2" vertical crack to upper right side of frame near raised border. DP. IMPORTANT: Before bidding, please read the terms and conditions.
