Revolutionary War Era Cavalry Sword, C. Late 18th C., L 34.75'' | Having a swivel knuckle guard. Part of the guard swivels to the side and locks in place with a pin. Rope-wrapped wooden grip (the leather wrapping is all but lost). Single edge curved blade bearing no visible makers mark. Includes a later leather sword belt.

Overall pitting. A couple of small notches at the blade's edge. Little of the leather wrapping of the grip remains. No buckle for the belt.
