Pair of George Nakashima (American, 1905-1990) grass seated chairs, designed 1940s, of typical form in black walnut with rounded back above spindles on square grass rope woven seats, one chair marked "28" in ink to underside, and the other inscribed "A70 / R1086" in pencil to underside.
