This early example is one of the first designs ever made by Pearsall at his first factory located at 296 Madison Street in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. At the time, he and his brother Richard were the only employees, suggesting that Pearsall not only conceived this form, but also helped fabricate it.
Sold with a digital copy of a certificate of authenticity issued by Jim Pearsall, the artist's son.

Condition
Good overall vintage condition, showing minor areas of wear throughout. Beech back rest exhibits scattered scratches, dark abrasions, and a few shallow indentations. Enameled steel frame retains some losses to enamel, resulting in exposed steel to oxidize. Updated upholstery.
