Detailed scientific description of the bright nova of 1604, about which Kepler had already published a short popular report the previous year. - "He deals in detail with the various observations that were made here and there, of the color, luminosity, the blinking, the distance, the matter of the nova" (Caspar).
- Without parts 1-2 ( 6 sheets, p. 1-148) and 4 (35 p., 2 sheets).
Title with old numbering in the upper margin, somewhat browned, the last leaf with 2 small marginal defects.
