The Spirit of Detroit, 2000, edition, 6/15, posthumous cast issued by the Marshall Maynard Fredericks Museum, with Estate stamp and Daedalus Foundry stamp, parcel gilt and patinated bronze, with black marble base, 12-5/8 x 14 x 7 in.

Note: Fredericks stated he never named the piece. He said:
"The theme was a verse from the Bible (2 Corinthians 3:17); 'Now the Lord is that Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.' I tried to express the spirit of man through the deity and the family,"
