Map Dimension (in.): 18.4 X 21.9 in.

This is an excellent double-page map of Africa. The latest cartographic knowledge was used by J Haas, a professor of mathematics at Wittenberg University, to create this map. he included the knowledge from an earlier Homann map as well as cartographic knowledge from De l'Isle and D'Anville. Thus, his map presents a fairly accurate picture without most of the fictitious lakes and rivers of previous cartography.
