LATE 16TH / 17TH CENTURY GERMAN AUGSBURG SILVER BEAKER, cylindrical form with chased snakeskin texture to exterior, having remnants of gilt. Impressed to base with the Augsburg city mark, an "SH" or "HS" maker's mark, and a tremolierstich. Total weight: 4.405 ozt. Late 16th/17th century. 3 1/2" H, 2 7/8" D rim.

Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and nicks, rim slightly out of round, a few minor/small dents, gilt mostly worn off.
