Description
An early 19th century American Tall clock. 8-day time and strike movement with painted Iron dial and Roman numerals, subsidiary date and seconds. Later Craftsman made Walnut case with a broken arch crest and turned wooden finials over a shaped dial door flanked by turned columns, over an arched waist door and a paneled base with inset quarter columns and flared feet. Minor finish wear, re-painted dial, running when cataloged. 98 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $400-600
