Before entering a famed football career, Chuck was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia where he met his wife Nancy. The two dated in high school and through college and were married in 1958. Chuck has always enjoyed the outdoors and outdoor sports including hunting, fishing, and riding horses. In 1961 the couple moved to Dallas, Texas. Later in 1977 they purchased a ranch in Wills Point, Texas where he began raising cattle and horses. Chuck and Nancy have family in Wheeling, WV and Santa Fe, NM. When visiting family in Santa Fe, perusing art galleries was high on their priority list. Over the years, their collection has been shaped by a passion for ranching, western themes, and personal connections with artists.
