Description
An original limited-edition Victorian brick from the Strawberry Field Salvation Army children’s home in Liverpool, England - numbered, "2499," and embossed with a hologram. Together with a presentation box.
The name, "Strawberry Field," became immortalized in February 1967 with the release of the Beatles single, “Strawberry Fields Forever,” written by John Lennon. Lennon grew up in close proximity to the children’s home and was always excited to attend the annual Garden Party with his Aunt Mimi. The place gave Lennon a sense of peace and tranquility, he would often climb over the wall to play on the grounds.
