Description

Overall length: 31". Blade length: 25 1/4". Plain blade with a single narrow fuller near the spine. The blade is stamped on both sides with a crown over "GR" and the name "DRURY" beneath. Brass 4-slot guard with plain, flat knuckle bow. Large pommel cap with plain backstrap & ferrule. Large grip is sharkskin covered over wood with a twisted wire wrap. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a medium gray, cleaned patina with numerous nicks to the edge, including 2 significant larger nicks. Hilt is quite solid and has a pleasing patina. Grip shows some worm holes with 70% sharkskin and full wire wrap. (02-20104/BF). $500-800.
