American, early 20th century. Shagreen handle incised to underside of the brass loop guard. Presented by U.S. Navy Band, New Orleans, Louisiana, October 16, 1918.
Blade: 29 in. (73.7 cm.), full length: 34 1/2 in. (87.6 cm.)
