The Commodores is a funk/soul band of the 1970s and 1980s. The members of the group met as mostly freshmen at Tuskegee Institute in 1968. This group is best known for their ballads according to record sales for such songs as “Easy” and “Three Times a Lady”. Their album, In the Pocket, Motown, 1981, signed on the album jacket, no record, by: Lionel Richie (1949- ), Walter Orange (1949- ) and William King (1949- ). The jacket shows modest wear. There are snapshots of the band signing the album.
