Description: 27 scripts (with 4 duplicates). Various paginations, printed on rectos only. (4to) wrappers of various colors, bound with 2 (occasionally 1) brass brads. Various drafts.A near complete set of shooting scripts from the 1974 Planet of the Apes television series, with scripts for 12 (of 14) episodes present. Lacking only "The Trap" and "Up Above the World So High." These working scripts were used on the set, with various ownership signatures from crew members on the wrappers, some with notes, edits, stage directions, etc. in holograph on the wrappers and interiors. For some episodes, various drafts of the script are present. Individual scripts are scarce, a near-complete run much more so. The Planet of the Apes was broadcast on CBS in 1974, based on the 1968 film of the same name and its sequels.Comprises (the listed dates are those printed on the scripts, not the air dates of the episodes):
