Paris. 1837-1840. Chez L’Editeur du Commentaire Analytique du Code Civil. 31 Volumes. All volumes in Very Good to Good condition. Written entirely in French. All bound in brown half calves leather hard cover with brown marbled boards. The spines are embossed in gold and black for the title. Most of the bindings are firm and all pages are attached, however the covers of three spines are starting to detach. There are no owner markings or owners book plates. There is foxing to some of the pages but we believe the previous owner had these pages treated to stop further foxing. Acquired from the estate of a world-renowned French-American Cardiologist who had an extremely strong Catholic faith and whose medical research was both published and awarded., , LOT REF #24-083
