A group of three Federal coin silver beakers / cups, Butler Bement (1784-1869), Pittsfield, MA, Moulton & Wood (active 1818-1820), Newburyport, MA, and Thomas Knox Emery (1784-1815), Boston, MA, circa 1810-1820
Provenance
Comprising a cup by Butler Bement, with flared rim, engraved to front, “The Berkshire Agricultural Society to October 1821,” marked; a cup by Moulton & Wood, or the partnership between Abel Moulton (1784-1850) and David Wood (1766-?), engraved to body, “Salter,” marked; and a cup by Thomas Knox Emery, with molded rim and foot, engraved to front with monogram, “RSJC,” marked.
