Description
Graphite on paper drawing by Lyubov Popova, 1889 to 1924, a Russian avant-garde artist and designer who was a part of Suprematist and Contructivist art movements. The artwork depicts three women in the bathhouse. Fine example of early Cubism. Titled Figures. Dated 1913. Signed by the artist in the lower left. The work was studied by the expert of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art Dr. Valery Turchin and GTG expert Dr. Maria Valyaeva and was included in the book XX Century: The Beginning of Drama, published in Moscow, 2012. Black mat, black frame. Collectible Modernist Graphic Art, Russian Avantgarde.
