Description
VICTORIAN SWIRLED GLASS FAIRY LAMPS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a pyramid-size cranberry Swirl with mica and threaded decoration, raised on a ceramic base marked for Taylor, Tunnicliffe & Co. and numbered "1514", signed to the interior of the cup, "S. CLARKE'S/PATENT/TRADE MARK/FAIRY PYRAMID"; and a pyramid-size pink Swirl fitted on a colorless lamp cup embossed to the underside "S. CLARKE/TRADE/MARK/FAIRY PYRAMID", and having a period candle with exterior stating "CLARKE'S/PYRAMID/TRADE MARK/NO WATER REQUIRED". Fourth quarter 19th century. 3 3/4" and 3 7/8" HOA.Â

Condition
Cranberry undamaged with some wear to the base; pink done having a couple of sliver chips to the interior of the fitter. Each dome having some expected light roughness to the top rim, as made.
