About the artist: Born on December 23, 1951, in the village of Slavuta, Khmelnitsky region. He graduated from the Ukrainian Printing Institute named after Ivan Fedorov (1990). Teachers in the specialty: A. Popov, P. Priveda, V. Gurmak, V. Ovchinnikov. He worked in the field of painting, graphics. The main industries are easel painting (landscape, still life, portrait, genre painting), easel and book graphics. The artist’s creativity is characterized by a tendency to multifaceted monumental content, lyrical romanticism and poetry, and rich color. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1992). Honored Artist of Ukraine (2010). He was awarded the Certificate of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2011). He worked in Zhitomir: as an artist of the Ukrainian music and drama theater named after I. Kochergi (1976-1978); designer of art workshops (1978-1984); at the art - production plant (1984-1996); teacher of vocational school No 17 (1996-1998); chief artist of the city, chief specialist at the main department of urban planning and architecture of the city council (1999-2008); at the same time - chairman of the organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2007). Participated in exhibitions: urban, regional, republican (since 1984). Personal exhibitions - in Zhytomyr (1996, 2001, 2006-2008, 2010), Novograd-Volynsky (Zhytomyr region, 2009). Major works: “Variations of Autumn” (2008), “Spring with Heavenly Eyes” (2008), “Evening Accents of a Fading Summer” (2009), “On Prince's Mountain., G. Ostrog” (2010), “Melody of a Winter Evening” (2011). The works are stored in the museum - the estate of Lesya Ukrainka (the city of Novograd-Volynsky), the Kmitov Museum of Modern Art (Korostyshevsky District, Zhytomyr Region). He lived and worked in the city of Zhytomyr.
