Original 1983 Keith Haring Black and gold ink on silver paper. Classic and instantly recognizable image of the crawling baby with radiating lines around. Signed and dated in lower right. This piece along with a couple of subway tiles were the last remaining pieces from the storage of a NYC Village art gallery in the late 1990s - early 2000s. The gallery was at 123 Mercer Street named Soho Treasures. The shop closed about 2010 but when open catered to many celebrities. Ashley Olsen purchased a Haring subway tile at the shop that was later authenticated by the foundation. The website name has been appropriated by another vendor since abandoned by the original owner. The Haring pieces remained in a Brooklyn storage since the shop closed until last year.
