Large Crossed Sword Meissen Allegorical figural group attributed to M.V. Acier. Germany 1850's. God Hephaetus seated on rock surrounded by winged putti's. Bears crossed sword mark to underside. 9"w x 8"d x 9"h.
Condition
Hephaetus is missing a finger and thumb, hand is broken on Blacksmith Potti, right arm has been reglued and glaze is missing, arm on back putti has terrible repair's and cannon putti has repaired fingers. AS is.
