An Extremely Rare Astro "Jet" Attraction Poster.

Item Details

Description

(Disneyland, 1961) A very rare original hand-silkscreened Astrojets attraction poster designed by Bjorn Aronson and produced for a brief time. After American Airlines produced the "Astrojet" airliner in 1961, the attraction's name was changed to Tomorrowland Jets at the behest of corporate competitor and Disneyland sponsor TWA. The letters of "Astro-jet" can be seen faintly through the yellow lettering reading "JETS." This 54" x 36" poster is in very good condition, linen backed for preservation, with a few light creases throughout, and a single horizontal center crease line.
