The small 'scholar' box of rectangular form, depicting a seated figure in a landscape; the box and cover of melon form, inlaid in mother-of-pearl and hardstone with a trailing melon vine; the stem bowl decorated with figures in a riverside garden; the boxwood carving with a child seated on his mother's lap holding a floral bouquet, wood stand.
