Fine Japanese Mixed Metals "Book" Shape Hinged Box, the top and bottom covers in patinated copper with silver "stitches" to binding over hinge and opening to a gilt interior with 2 flying Cranes in silver with gold legs and incised pine branches, the "page" sides in silver and a silver & gold incised calligraphy label to cover; old Japanese wood storage box. Width of "book" 4 3/4 inches (12 cm.).
