The Three Faces of Eve by Margaret Keane is a limited edition lithograph, hand signed by the artist, Margaret Keane, and individually numbered 264/300. It measures 32 x 21 and is framed to a measurement of 43 x 31 in. Born in 1927 in Nashville, Tennessee, Margaret first made her paintings famous in San Franciscos North Beach in the 1950s. Margarets work drew little accolades from art critics but was loved and admired by the world including Andy Warhol. Margaret went on to become one of the most successful living artists in the early 60s and started the Big Eye Movement. Her art influenced a large crop of artists including Lee, Gig, Maio, Ozz Franca, Igor Pantuhoff, and Eve. Margaret has created a legacy of Big Eyes influencing many artists, toy designs and cartoons, such as Tim Burton, Yoshitomo, Mark Ryden, Little Miss No Name Dolls, Blythe Dolls, The PowerPuff Girls, created by Craig McCracken and more.
