About the artist: Born on June 11, 1928, in the village of Ryabchik, Chernigov region (now Chernihiv region). Graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1967). Teachers by profession: V. Puzyrkov, K. Trofimenko, I. Shtilman. Painter. He worked in the field of easel (subject-thematic painting, portrait, landscape, still life) and diorama painting; themes - World War II, Cossacks, hunting. The artist's works are distinguished by their laconic design and psychologism. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1978). He worked in Kiev as a decorator of the Theater of Russian Drama. Lesi Ukrainian (1953-1954); in the workshops of the Art Fund of the Ukrainian SSR (1954-1974, with interruptions); chief artist of the "Reklama" department (1974-1976); in the association "Artist" (1976-1991). Participated in exhibitions: republican (since 1970). Major works: graphics - "Spring lace" (1975); dioramas - "Polesie" and "Dnieper" (1975-1976), "Forced export of the population of Pervomaisk to Germany" (1979-1980), "Tragedy in the village of Kopische" (1980-1981); painting - "The first day of war" (1964), "Peonies" (1968), "Chernigov region", "In the parental home" (1969), "Partisans", "Druzhina" (1970), "Girl", "On the penalty bench "(1971)," Spring Day "(1972)," Bread "," Sea "," The Roads of Parents. 1941 "(1973)," Keepers of Nature "," Dawn Towards "(1977)," Motherhood "(1979)," From the Intelligence "," Kiev Ahead "(1983)," Thunder "," Spring Suite. Teterev "," Mother "(1989)," Matchmaking "(1990s)," Oh summer eagle, gray summer "," Still life with a watermelon "(1991)," Autumn "(1993)," Sadness "(1995 ), "Dear Mother", "Cossack Revenge" (1996), "Self-portrait" (1998); diptychs - "For life" (1993), "Hunting still lifes" (1999). The works are kept in the Vinnitsa Historical Museum. Lived and worked in the city of Kiev, died on January 31, 2002. He died in 2002.
