Churchill TLS Thanking Publisher for "specially bound copy of the Abridgement" of His WWII Books

A typed letter signed by Winston Churchill. Hotel de la Mamounia, Marrakech, dated February 10, 1959. Signed "Winston S. Churchill" and addressed to Desmond Flower Esq. of Cassell & Company, Ltd. Churchill sends his thanks after receiving a specially bound, abridged copy of his book "The Second World War", also known as Winston Churchill's War Memoirs. 1p, measuring 7.5" x 9.5", PSA slabbed and graded, measuring 9.75" x 13.25" overall. Flattened mail folds with scattered soiling. There is a hole punch at the top left. Boldly signed.
The "specially bound copy of the Abridgement" to which Churchill referred to was the First English Abridged Edition of "The Second World War: With A New Epilogue On The Years 1945 to 1957." The special one-volume edition was published by Cassell & Co. Ltd. in 1959, having been prepared by Churchill's literary assistant, Denis Kelly, to include the following titles: The Gathering Storm, Their Finest Hour, The Grand Alliance, The Hinge of Fate, Closing the Ring, and Triumph and Tragedy.
This item comes with a Certificate from John Reznikoff, a premier authenticator for both major 3rd party authentication services, PSA and JSA (James Spence Authentications), as well as numerous auction houses.
