This watch is fitted with a Sterling Silver dial that has been gilded and the applied numerals are done in 18Kt. gold. Hamilton was famous for their watches and the navigational chronometers used by the US Navy during WW 2. The model of their navigational chronometer was copied exactly by Russia and used by their navy until the 1980?s. They are renowned for their quality and dependability.
