A varicoloured gemstone spray brooch and earrings set, c.1940-1950, the brooch modelled as a large floral spray, claw set with carved ruby buds, and varicoloured sapphires, to polished leaves and stalks, in an unmarked mount tested as approximately 14ct gold. Brooch pin and safety catch to verso. 49mm x 82mm. The matching floral earrings set with vari-hue oval cut sapphires and carved rubies, to clip-on backs, stamped 14K. 28mm x 28mm. 44.73g (2) Condition Report: Due to setting limitations it wasn't possible to test all the gemstones, however, the observation of the inclusions indicates a natural origin for all. Moderate wear to the facet edges of the gems. Scratches and marks to mounts.
