Blue and anodized finished with 2 piece checkered walnut grips with Rampant Colt Medallions. 1956 mfg. with a total production of 3053 revolvers in both 32 and 22. 3" round barrel marked "COLT COURIER 22 LONG RIFLE" with blade front sight and grooved receiver rear sight. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Single and double action swing out cylinder and built on the Alloy "D" frame. Revolver is housed in its numbers matching wood grain 2 piece box with full label and instructions. Condition: Excellent plus with no indication of use. Bore and chambers are bright. Grips are excellent with no distress or material loses. All metal finishes remain as new. Box is shop worn with loose corners and a tape repair internally. Label is vivid and legible and number is legible on underside. An extremely uncommon revolver and possibly the best example offered.
