A very large Chinese red silk wall 'celebration' panel, Qing dynasty, circa 1850-1880, in satin stitch and gold thread, the central panel with two large phoenixes surrounded by large blossoms and symbols of abundance and celebration, surmounted by three gold thread shou symbols, bordered beneath with scholars objects, with attendants on either side and the scene at the top with seated dignitaries with attendants paying tribute, a boy kneeling before them offering a pair of jue vessels, 380cm x 220cm Provenance: By Family descentMme Marie Violet who was a private collector circa 1890-1915晚清 橘紅地鳳穿牡丹掛屏拍品來源:瑪麗·維奧萊特 (Marie Violet) 女士家族傳承,入藏於1890 年至 1915 年間
