A rare small Chinese 'Yaozhou' celadon 'fish' conical bowl, Northern Song or Jin Dynasty, 12-13th century, the bowl is moulded on the interior with fish swimming amidst waves above a sea creature in the centre, with radiating lines cut on the exterior, all under a pale greyish-green glaze, exhibition labels for Cape Town 1953, Radcliffe collection and BADA, 10cm diameterProvenance: Major Edward Copleston Radcliffe (1898-1967) collection and listed in the family archive, 'A3', as purchased from Sotheby's in 1942 for £8-0s-0d, but in the Bluett archive listed as purchased on commission from Sotheby's, 1st July 1943, from the collection of the late Sir Daniel Hall, lot 51 (part lot)Exhibited: National Gallery of South Africa, Chinese Exhibition, Cape Town, 1953, no. 83北宋至金耀州窯青釉魚紋盞拍品來源：Edward Copleston Radcliffe (1898-1967) 少校私人收藏（家族編號A3），其於家族檔案中記載為1942年以8英鎊購自蘇富比，然而在Bluett的檔案中則記載為1943年7月1日承Radcliffe少校委托購自蘇富比Danial Hall爵士收藏，拍品編號51號展覽信息：南非國家畫廊，中國藝術展覽，開普敦，1953年，編號83號
