Depiction of Padmasambhava or Guru Rinpoche surrounded by other monks, deities and scholars of Buddhist schools.

He is the central character and shown sitting on a colourful lotus flower, dressed in wavy robes and adorned with jewellery.

He is enframed by chrysanthemum aureoles.

In his right hand he is holding a vajra, a khatvanga staff between his left arm.
