Antique Miniature in Pinchbeck Surround
Fine early 19th century miniature of a young lady. Beautifully painted with magnetic eyes. Set behind oval glass with a chamfered edge in a Pinchbeck frame. Small ring to the top and old stain to either side of the back suggest this used to have a pin and was most likely originally worn as a brooch. Measures 6.5 x 8 (height) cm. The painting is in very good condition, a few small age related scratches to original glass. Unremoved from frame
