Description
№Kalen 1214
The painting, titled “Moonlit Night,” features an abstract landscape created using the impasto painting technique. Thick, expressive strokes of paint are applied to the canvas in a way that creates a raised and textured surface. The composition of the painting comes to life thanks to the bold combination of colors and shapes. The sky in the painting is painted in dark colors, presumably to convey a nighttime atmosphere. Shades of dark blue, gray and black are visible, creating the impression of a night sky. White and light strokes can symbolize stars or moonlight breaking through the darkness. The lower part of the painting is brighter and more contrasting, with strokes in warm shades of yellow, orange and red, creating the effect of light reflecting on the ground or on the surface of water. Blue and turquoise strokes add depth and coolness to the composition, perhaps depicting water or shadows. The painting does not contain clear outlines or specific forms, which is typical for abstract art. The elements of the composition interact to create a dynamic and emotional impression of the work. This approach allows the viewer to perceive the picture individually, based on their own associations and feelings.
