05.06.23: In my opinion regarding LOT 1141: As described the lamp has been observed operating, I note that the metal is patinated and appears structurally secure, with all stems being secure to base, the glass lamp shades are overall well-preserved with one having a minor chip to the rim commensurate with contact against metal and socket when assembled, I do not presently observe evidence of restoration or fractures, additionally, a couple of the shades have black electrical tape wrapped around one end, I am unsure the purpose of this, as an examination of the shade interior does not exhibit any damage it may be linked to
