Description
A framed hand-painted original animation cel from the production of Batman: The Animated Series. This cel was created when planning the colours and proportions of a background from the Season 1 episode "The Man Who Killed Batman". It shows the exterior of the Gotham Diamond Exchange, which is robbed by The Joker, Harley Quinn, their goons and Sid. The production cel is hand labelled "406 551, Diamond Exchange, sc. B60, Batman, J. Calmette" - referring to credited background painter John Calmette. The cel comes mounted within a black frame with plexiglass and features a hanging wire on the reverse. The lot comes with a a Warner Bros. Animation Art certificate of authenticity.
