Robert Dudley Best (1892-1984) for Best & Lloyd, a 'BL2' Bestlite desk lamp, circa 1940, the shade and weighted base both finished in their original cream paint, the chrome stem adjustable for angle 50cm high In very honest, original condition and in 'first paint' so showing some chips and scuffs as expected with age and use the chrome stem is very good, exhibiting only minor wear to the top of the arched section re-wired with dark brown twisted flex and inline switch
