Offered here for your consideration is a Sunface inlay squash blossom style necklace by award winning artist, Annie Gasper. This necklace features a central crescent shaped naja highlighted with lovely channel inlays of turquoise, coral, onyx, and mother of pearl in a great Sunface design. The inlays are highlighted with silver loops and silver dots. The neckline features twelve Sunface pendants matching the naja. Two strands of sterling silver beads conjoined into a single strand are strung on foxtail wire, and stamped silver tips and findings finish the piece nicely. MAKER: Hallmarked A. GASPER (stamped). Annie Quam Gasper (1927-2002; Zuni). Active 1950s to 2002. Gasper was a student of Horace Iule, and worked at C. G. Wallacein the 1950s. She is a multiple award winner.
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer).
SIZE: This necklace measures approximately 26 inches from end to end, and the naja measures 1 7/8 inches across (at the widest point) x 2 inches from top to bottom.
