(Some fading to paper and scuffs to leather; interior lightly toned with foxing and offsetting. A very good copy of this finely bound book.)

(Good volumes with scuffing and edgewear to boards, light staining, and rubbing at corners, bands, joints, and head and tail of spine; sturdy bindings; interior with foxing, offsetting, and light toning, first free endpaper of both volumes with small separation with vol. I with associated taped repair, vol. I with (2) pages with small corner loss.)

(About good copy with wear to boards including scuffs and light stains, rubbing at corners and head and tail of spine, slight separation from text block but still sturdy; interior with light toning, foxing, and staining, pencil inscription on front paste-down, front hinge cracked, frontispiece free of tears.)
