Description
Pair of Daguerreotype portrait photographs: one depicting a seated pair of men and the other depicting a portrait of a single man. Housed under glass in gilt metal frames encased with a gutta-percha or thermoplastic case. The case with a design of two deer along either side.

Condition
The portrait of a single man is greatly discolored, especially along the margins. Some light discoloration along the margins of the portrait of two men. Some spots of discoloration to the gilt metal frames. The case is in good condition, however, it does not clasp firmly shut.
