Description

A 19th century walnut pole screen having an adjustable screen decorated with embroidered flowers, attached to brass pole with flame finial, leading to a heavily carved wooden base with acanthus carving on knees leading to Queen Ann style scrolled legs and snake feet. Missing a piece of molding over the top of the screen, the back of the screen has looses to the textile covering, normal use wear to wood, and overall good condition, circa 1870. Measures 17 1/4" square x 60 3/4"H.
